Background
Apoptosis-inducing factor (AIF) is a phylogenetically ancient mitochondrial intermembrane flavoprotein. AIF induces caspase-independent peripheral chromatin condensation and large-scale DNA fragmentation when added to purified nuclei. Upon apoptosis induction AIF translocates to the cytosol and the nucleus. |

This antibody was generated by immunizing rabbits with synthetic peptides of human AIF. |
Application Notes
A 65 kDa band is observed. |
