Background
Dopamine beta-hydroxylase (DBH) catalyzes the conversion of dopamine to norepinephrine and serves as a marker of noradrenergic cells. Stress can result in the elevation of DBH. |
Antigen
A synthetic peptide from the N-terminal region of human DBH was used as immunogen. The antibody was purified by affinity purification using a Sulfo-Link® column matrix to which the peptide immunogen was coupled. |
Application Notes
Dopamine beta-hydroxylase is detected at ~75 kDa on western blots. Researchers are encouraged to optimize dilutions for their specific testing. |
