Background hnRNPK is most extensively studied among heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein families which plays an important role in cell signaling, telomere elongation, DNA repair and regulation of expression at both transcriptional and translational levels. It is a highly conserved RNA/DNA-binding protein which interacts with different classes of factors of extracellular signals. |
Antigen
A portion of amino acid 380 to 430 of human hnRNPK was used as immunogen. |
Application Notes
The amino acid sequence used as immunogen is 100% homologous in human, mouse, monkey, chimpanzee and rat, 94% homologous in dog and 78% homologous in chicken. |
