Background Researchers have indicated that they want access to novel target antibodies quickly to aid in their research. IMGENEX is pleased to be able to offer researchers access to cutting-edge products that are still in the process of characterization/validation. IMGENEX’s ‘IMX’ antibody line is shown by ELISA to bind to the peptide used as immunogen. Investigators should empirically determine the suitability of the antibody, including optimal dilutions, for other applications of interest.
We cannot guarantee that the yet-to-be-fully validated antibody will work in any application other than in an ELISA against the peptide used as immunogen and therefore cannot offer a refund if the antibody does not work in your application. |
The antibody is offered at a lower price compared to a more highly validated antibody. |
We are not able to provide the immunogen for the antibodies, but do provide the amino acid sequence. |
These antibodies are not fully validated and we appreciate your feedback. Customer feedback is used to help generate testing methodologies which can lead to further product validation or withdrawal.

IL20RA, is a subunit of IL20R, a member of Cytokine Class II receptor super family. It consists of a central transmembrane domain and functionally induces IL20 and IL26 signaling in epithelial cells and keratinocytes. It associates with IL-20RB and forms a functional receptor complex for IL20, IL19, and IL24. It also associates with IL-10RB and forms a unique heterodimeric functional receptor complex for IL-26. Upon ligand binding, it induces signaling through activation of STAT3 and STAT1. IL20RA is specifically expressed in skin suggesting a prominent role in growth and proliferation of keratinocytes. |
