BALB/C mice were immunized with detergent insoluble extract of human mammary epithelium.

Application Notes
We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Enzymatic predigestion of paraffin embedded tissues is recommended prior to the immunostaining. Specificity: This antibody recognizes keratin polypeptide of 40 kD. It is the smallest human keratin found in most simple and non- keratinizing stratified epithelia. This antigen is not present in adult intrafollicular epidermis. The antibody stains most of the epithelial cell types including ductal and glandular epithelia. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic. |
