Recombinant human Fms-Like Tyrosine Kinase-3 Ligand (FLT-3 L)
This ligand binds to Fms-Like Tyrosine Kinase-3 (FLT-3). Human FLT-3 ligand also stimulates the proliferation of cells expressing murine FLT-3 receptors. The effects of FLT-3 ligand are synergized by coexpression of G-CSF, GM-CSF, M-CSF, IL-3 and SCF. FLT-3 ligand promotes long-term expansion and differentiation of human pro-B-cells in the presence of I-L7 or in combination of IL-7 and IL-3. Recombinant Human FLT-3 Ligand produced in E. Coli is a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 155 amino acids having a molecular mass of 17,605 Dalton.

rHuFLT-3 Ligand is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED50, calculated by the dose- dependent stimulation of the proliferation of human AML5 cells is expected in a range of 0.6 - 1.0 ng/ml.
Endotoxin level as measured by LAL is <0.01ng/ug or <0.1EU/ug.
Protein content determined by: UV spectroscopy at 280 nm. Analysis by RP-HPLC calibrated against a known standard. Quantitation on SDS-PAGE against a known standard.
